We want every soft play celebration to be a joyful one, and the below are designed to keep everyone safe and happy, whilst also preserving the longevity of the play equipment for future occasions full of fun!
By hiring our soft play equipment, we will assume you have read our T&C’s and you are agreeing to the below. The individual hiring the Soft Play Package is responsible for ensuring all possible steps below are followed:
Section One: Weather
- We know the weather isn’t always predictable, so please always have an indoor contingency plan available to avoid disappointment if we can’t set up in wet weather
- We cannot set up play equipment in any area that is muddy or wet (it can become slippery, dirty and unsafe)
- Please due note, on rare occasions where temperatures are especially hot (and there is no shade available), we recommend hosting your soft play event inside. This is to avoid little ones overheating (and also because the soft play equipment can become hot to the touch, which isn’t nice to play on)!
Section Two: Payment
- We require just a $30 deposit to confirm your booking, and the remaining balance (less the deposit) is required before delivery is made
- Bookings are only considered locked in once a deposit is paid. Unfortunately, due to demand we cannot hold any dates without a deposit
- How would you like to pay? We accept cash, card or bank transfer!
- Cancellations: we know things can change – if you wish to cancel your booking at least 3 weeks prior to your event date, we will refund your $30 deposit. For any cancellations made after this period, we are unable to refund the deposit, but can transfer it to a future booking date within the next 6 months
Section Three: Delivery + Set Up
- Sit back, and relax – all of our packages include free set up and delivery to venues within 15kms of Trott Park SA!
- An adult within your group will be required to sign upon receipt of the play equipment
- The set-up area of your choice must be clean and free of obstructions (i.e., furniture or other objects)
- Set up (and removal/collection after your event) both take approximately 30 minutes (depending on the package selected). Please leave enough time for this and keep it in mind if you are booking a venue
- Standard Packages can be set up in clean, dry areas inside or outside. Our Premium Packages are not suitable for outdoor settings, and can only be set up indoors/undercover (i.e., a patio, but not concrete/lawns)
- To avoid disappointment on the day, please check the size of your selected soft play package before bookingto ensure you have enough space available. Some pieces can be adapted slightly, but still have a minimum size/area clearance or we will not be able to set up and can’t be held responsible
- Please let us know when booking if the location is hard to reach, or if there are stairs or a long walk (etc.)
- Please don’t disassemble or remove any soft play equipment yourself – that’s what we’re here to do 😊
Section Four: Safety
- We work skilfully to ensure all play equipment is set up in a way that accounts for the safety of the children using it. Please do not move any equipment once set up (to avoid potential accidents or injuries)
- For safety reasons, do not use soft play equipment when wet
- All equipment is safely sanitised before each event, however germs can spread between young guests, so bear this in mind if little ones wish to suck on parts of the equipment such as the ball pit balls!
- If you have a mix of ages at your event, we suggest having a chat with older children to take extra care around babies and toddlers to avoid accidents or collision (particularly in and around the ball pit)
- We take all necessary precautions for safety, but in the rare case of injury, we cannot be held liable
- Parents and guardians, please supervise your children at all times – this involves ensuring the soft play is not overcrowded. Despite all equipment being safe for children aged 1-6 years old, supervision and reasonable care is still required
Section Five: Care
We want you to have gorgeous, vibrant looking soft play equipment, so we ask you adhere to the below so that we can maintain that!
- No food or drink on or near soft play
- Shoes off, socks on (for hygiene and safety reasons) when using the play equipment please
- Please avoid all sharp/messy objects (along the lines of slime, silly string, party poppers, face paint, markers/pens etc.) in the play area for safety and cleanliness
- We know soft play looks so enticing – but children aged 1-6 only, it’s simply not built for ages beyond that!
- Although we LOVE animals, we ask that they stay outside the play area
- Parents and guardians, when you supervise your little ones, please do so by treading lighting (no shoes) in the play area (and do not use the equipment yourself – maybe we’ll make adult soft play one day, but not yet)
- We ask you advise us if any damage occurred during your soft play event so we can assess
- Failure to adhere to the above and any damage/soiling equipment may incur a cleaning or repair damage fee
The Hirer fully indemnifies Happy Little Corner Soft Play with respect to all and any liability, loss, expense, damage, claims, suits, actions, demands or proceedings for any injury to any person/persons in connection with the use of the play equipment and any associated costs and charges.
